Small 1 dollar bill?

I got a 1 dollar bill from my bank a few years ago that was at least one inch shorter and 1/2 in.narrower. I tested it with those pens that they mark them with.It showed real. I can't show it because I lost it with a wallet with 1300 in cash. Any ideas on how it got small?

Sorry without seeing it, it is hard to say.

Was the Portrait & everything on it Equally Smaller ?

Could the Ends have been Trimmed ?

It was identical in every way.Like a shrunken bill.

There was (may still be) a company that came up with a way to shrink bills, sort of like washing a new shirt in hot water. Their product was still a legal piece of currency, just 1/3 the size of a normal bill. You might have run across one of these.

i guess as a novelty peice it would be different. but what would you do with it after that? it wont work in a machine that takes dollar bills. if you tried to spend it at a cashier, they would look at you kinda funny or maybe call the FBI to report a conterfiter.........
