Hello all,
I posted late last night in "what is it" regarding a pewter piece. Along with that came a button and an IHP, 1875.
The back of the button says "standard colour" on the outer edge, and "treble gilt" on the inner edge. It also kinda looks like an eagle above the writing. The IH is pretty beat up but the date is clear. The button was literally half exposed in the stone driveway.
I do like the button, can anyone offer anything about it?
