Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

I went door knocking over the weekend with a friend. We scored an absolutely awesome permission around an 1890's Victorian house.
Around and old tree in the side yard we found a half dozen of the 1968 shell gas station game piece tokens (3 in one hole)

The first picture is just my finds. Too much to list. 90% of this stuff came from around the same tree. It was insane. It was loaded with old coins (lots of coin spills, my buddy dug up like 9 wheats and a nickel in a single hole) I even found a button spill. lol

Anyhow, for those who may be interested, I made a fun video focusing on part of the token cache. I plan on posting a video of the full hunt soon. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I would be focusing on colonial digs myself if I lived further north east. Finding large cents and flat buttons in Tennessee can be a bit tricky. Thankfully I live in the far north east corner of the state now near the VA border. So my finds have been getting much older over the last year. :) Anyhow. HH in 2019!

nice finds i love your videos:icon_thumright:

Fantastic finds JD and your videos do have a soothing effect on me after a hard day of digging like a maniac. Thank you for your time and effort to show us your finds and adventures.

I truly think there’s not one LC in Southern Louisiana.

Congrats on some nice finds.

Has to be one somewhere. And I hope you find it! I've only ever found one in Tennessee, but I did manage a KGII half penny around an old farm from an original land grant, which blew me away. It seems most of my other oldest finds start to happen when I cross the VA border, something magically changes. Haha.

Tennessee is great for civil war relics. But I've yet to find a coin that a soldier dropped. They elude me.

Awesome finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Nice video, I was routing for you to be a winner (ha), look forward to the next video, congratulations on all the saves
