I think it is anyway. Rather small from others I have seen and this one's circle area is not uniform. Found on beach in shell pile.

Ha ha... Nice. Yup that's what it is. A grinding stone like a morter.
 
:laughing7: Sorry there Bill, I know you know your stuff and here I am could be holding the worlds greatest treasure in my hand and I'm like So what is this again? LOL! Cool, so I have that hammer ..oops..celt shell and now this little nutting stone. TWO things for my collection!

Ohh the thing they used to pound or squash! Hey that's great both pieces found together! It's so cool to hold this stuff that has not been touched in so many years!
 
Yes they were found together in a rootball of a fallen palm tree not far from your... bone... I mean Celt..ha ha
 
ahhh. That's a great find given its hiding place.
