Had to go out of town today which was going to put me "within range" to hit 4 small towns that have 1 bank each. I had been to each in Oct/Nov of last year. Banks 1 and 2 had none. Bank 3 had $3 - all clad. Bank 4 had $120 in handrolls. First 9 rolls were skunks. A lone 40%er popped out of roll 10. Roll 11 was a skunk. I opened roll 12 and saw a 40%er on the end. Dropped them into my hand and heard that sweet "clink, clink, clink." Solid roll of 40%! My 2nd solid roll ever.

I find several rolls with peoples' names, phone numbers, and/or account numbers on them. These rolls were all marked like that. Strangely the solid roll came from a Pawn Shop?!? Seriously? I find it hard to believe a pawn shop cashed in a roll of 40% half dollars for face value, but apparently they did. Now I gotta try to find this pawn shop!

Wow can not beleive the bank left their account number on the rolls.....Matt

Great score. My best roll had 8 silvers and I was happy with that. I can't wait until I get a solid roll of silver.

Nice score on your last roll. That roll must have belonged to the Pawn Stars :laughing7:

Arkie,
Well done on that solid roll of 40%ers. Solid rolls are getting harder to find.
Congratulations,
rileyboy

I agree, but find that it is pretty common.

LOL, awesome score ABM!!! :hello2: Yes, go find that Pawn Shop!!! Interestingly enough, I have had a few times where I got 16 or 17 silvers in a roll but then last week was my first official solid roll - which was followed up today by 6 more!!! :headbang:

HH,

$ilver$urfer :hello:
