I got this in the mail today from my friend in Mo. It is about a inch wide and three inches long it has a pressure flaked edge from one end to the other on the bottom. You can tell it has been handled quite a lot the lighter colored spots are some cortex on the piece that is worn smooth and it has some polish here and there on the piece also. What is this a small scraper or knife or some other type of tool ? It is made of good quality brown colored flint.

Look's and feels like flint it's brown and real slick and smooth. Maybe someone will come along and be able to tell us a bit about it. I don't know a lot about Mo. artifact's. I collect mainly Texas artifact's

3 inches long? its prolly a blade/knife. Nice one too...

I picked up a tool that looks like that a few weeks ago on a field hunt. wasnt too sure what it was, but was retty sure it had been used for something.
