Howdy All! Love this time of year when the fields are picked and my research pays off. I got a few Indians, 1865, (2) 92s and a 1900. The 65 is in great shape! Any help on the brass item is appreciated. It appears to have the letter R or B stamped into it. Thanks for looking and Keep Swinging!!

I'd say your research has paid off. Love those IHPs!!!. :occasion14: The town I live in used to have an independent fair, I found the location where the First one was held back in the 1860's. It is in the next township over South of the town. The land is now split into 3 properties. So far I have one "NO", but am trying to secure the other 2 permissions. I thought for sure the 1st owner I chatted with would give me permission since he is currently a member of the county fair board. It just goes to show that nothing is for certain when seeking permissions.

I see you are a fellow Ohioan. We are blessed with nice maps. It surely makes it easier, but getting permission is difficult at times. I put a lot of miles on my truck this time of year hoping to catch the farmers close to the roads to ask permission, but I have been lucky to get a Yes more than no. Good luck and Keep Swinging!!
