Good to see you posting.

Nice finds. I like that button.

Good luck to you sir.

The button appears to be a "General Service" button. Any back marks on it?

Good to be back in the hunting groove, Tom.........an illness had me down for a bit.

Thanks for that info, sprailroad. I didn't get much more than a general description in my research. The back has the most deterioration and (to me) is illegible.

Chizzy, I retired with 33yrs in Maint. of. Way, First with SP, then UPRR. And I did live in Phila. in the early 70's. The button, looks to be an older style, as far as a back mark, I don't think there is much to lose, so I'm thinking of a soak in lemon juice perhaps? Others could weigh in on that. A back mark could help give a rough time date. Always enjoy finding any kind of military button.

Very nice finds and super nice button. Good luck!
