Sniping new topic to dredging inCA

Has anyone been sniping this yr?. Went to Yankee Jim's to do some sluicing with friends. Water is perfect temp. for air temp. but still a little high for sniping, as current is stiff. Give it a couple weeks to 1st of September.

Yup, the water is running at just about 200 cfs which would make the current a bit stiff. I know a person can not swim up river at 250cfs and being down in the 150 cfs to 125 cfs area will make it a lot nicer IF it ever gets down there this year.
