Started out not too bad of a day. A snow squall arrived with a wind from the SE light & Temp -11C, then the arctic high dropped south, winds changed direction from the NW , the sun came out and the temperature started to drop. It was -21 with the wind chill when I finished a snow hill. I had put the sniper coil on the AT Gold earler, tried a walk in the woods, and discovered 5-6" of hard icy packed snow and ground like concrete. I guess I will have to wait until the snow melts a bit and the temperatures warm up before I can play with that sniper coil. I used the 9" x 12" concentric coil on the AT Pro to hunt a snow hill where a lot of kids have gone down on their snow toys.
While hunting in the woods, I came across an eagle in a tree. My good camera was at home, and my basic aim and shoot camera with me got this shot.
