I love snow... and only get to see it when i make a trip to CT to hang with old friends.
when you dont live by it.... you love it and miss it!!!! but im also freezing cold at 70
degrees! so i wouldnt be able to handle the cold at all!

The older one gets the less one likes it.
Young folks generally do like it.
I like to see the seasons changes. But don't like driving in it.

When I Was a Teen I Loved to go out on
Snow Covered Roads & Drive. Even When
I Got Stuck in a Snow Drift & Had to Crawl
out the window & On the roof to escape.
Taught me well on how to Handle Snow.

also drove on many
Ice Slicked Roads if you can call it
Driving :D Which also
taught me the Power of Chains,
or Driving with one side in the Gutter
up Mountains.
in those Days :D

Now I see a Snow Flurry,
I Don't even Yearn to Drive.
I Just wish for a Melt.

Stefen's picture is exactly why I love snow. Admittedly, we get very little of it here, but when it happens, it really changes the landscape and the "look" of things if for just a day ;D.. Where I live, we tend to get about 3 ice storms for every 1 snow storm....

I suspect that Teddy's right.
When I was a kid, 18-22 years old, up in Kansas, we'd all pile into someones car(not mine, I knew better. And Yes, they had cars way back then)late at night and go to the Kmart parking lot. Even back then, there wasn't a lot of customers at Kmart...but I digress. We'd go and do donuts in the empty parking lot until the cops came.
Now I live in Georgia and every now and then there'll come a small skiff of snow. I think snow is beautiful until it starts collecting foot prints, tire tracks, and starts turning slushy.

I used to sled and ice skate, but alas, no more because old bones break easily and take a long time to heal.

hahahaha that would be me!! *not the accident part* :)

I love snow too, when I got my Jeep the guy told me the first thing I need to do was find a parking lot when it snows and gun it, I was use to doing doughnuts in my mustang but they were unintential, on busy roads, and make me crap my pants, doing doughnuts in a 4x4 is so much more fun. We use to bumper hop when I was a kid, wait for a car to come down the street and 20 kids would fight for a spot on the bumper.

Yeah, I used to do that, too. We called it bumper skiing. Hurts when you hit a dry spot! :laughing7:
