Got permission from the neighbors across the street to hunt their yard.
I only had a few minutes before I had to leave but before I did, I was able to find a 1909 wheatie.
I was really hoping to see the S mint mark but it wasn't there. Oh well, still a cool find in my eyes!

That is one nicely preserved wheat. Keep looking and hoping for the " S "...you just never know.

Oh, I plan on going back and spending more time! I did find a nice buffalo nickel but haven't taken a picture of it yet.
 

Everywhere ive found early wheats, Indian heads soon follow. Keep searching
