Hello!
I've been a casual metal detector-er for almost 30 years. I have primarily only metal detected on my parent's old farm in VT--best find was a 1798 large cent about a year and a half ago

We moved to NC about 2 years ago and I recently started researching places to go to metal detect (that's how I found you all
), since I just bought a new Garrett GTI 2500. Glad you're here--time for me to hunt around the site to see what treasures I can find!
