This thing has a few alienlike qualities.....
Plus i think its been changing its shape....
There is also some kind of mineral attached to the crystal inside .... It looks dark and almost insect like... But is really hardened

My dad found it digging a pond in southern texas when he was a kid

The dark mineral could be ferroan dolomite.
