Just bought one and the only feedback I have is it is very light. Haven't taken it out yet. Of course i have been hunting with the Tiger Shark.

I've been thinking abt that Golden also. I got a cleansweep for my Deleon, that thing doesn't miss much.. Would like to try it out on a golden.

I've been thinking about this machine a bit. I've used them all except this one and I've own and love the Silver Umax, Tejon, and Deleon. I know it has tone ID. Where does this fall in the line performance wise?

Sorry - I just noticed a couple of threads on this - shoulda done my homework first ::)

I would put the Golden in the same category as the Cibola performance wise. With the Golden it's all about audio. If you are the type of hunter that really wants to hear and interpret sounds then the Golden is for you. If you are easily confused by the different tones then you might want to consider something else. The Golden is the only Tesoro with a infinitely adjustable notch filter. IT WORKS! Joe
