Mudflap, that only happens on the big battery PI machines it takes Superman to swing...
 
Since a guy in a jetpack can't get that high, My guess is this
is some kind of custom made balloon. Couple ounces of lead
on the bottom of the feet to maintain heads-up orientation,
fill'er up with helium, and it'll float up looking real as can be.

Cool idea, but not very funny when they're sending them
up around LAX.
 
In 2006 we went for a couple weeks (retirement cruise) on the Queen Mary ll.
Our evening dining seating couple he worked for Lockeed Martin and he commented on something we were discussing: "What ever you have/use/see we had that technology 25 yrs ago"

Yes the world is getting caught up to their world, but I don't discount a prototype of any sorts being tested.
Just because we can't buy it at the local store-doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
