Re: So what's up with the 15"DD coil for the T2

We've been makin' 'em since about March but demand is still higher than our production capacity. Manufacturing process on these coils is labor intensive and also requires a high level of skill, it's not a deal where we can just throw another 20 people at it to catch up the back orders.

Same situation exists on the F75 15 inchers.

Well, at least it's good news that you guys are busy (especially nowadays). I guess I'll have to be patient.
Thanks for the reply :icon_thumright:

Dave
would this coil work on the omega 8000?

Will ones of these help me find enough gold to pay for it?

Just kidding...it is on my wish list.

Tek T2 version will not work at all.

The F75 version might or might not beep, but even if it does, it's a huge mismatch to the Omega.

Re: So what's up with the 15"DD coil for the T2

hey there dave, whats the main difference between the t2 and f75 coils? I thought they were basically the same detector.
joe.

Re: So what's up with the 15"DD coil for the T2

T2 and F75 have different transmit circuit topologies which require the searchcoils to be wired differently.
