like to solicit some opinions on the making of (good) sock coffee
sock coffee is made with a small cloth bag containing ground coffee through which hot water is poured a single time
this method is common where electricity is not and presumably is a step up from just boiling the grounds directly
(solvent extraction with hot water)
as I drink ~5 cups/day, I have been making all 5 at once and nuking by cup as I drink
it has always been somewhat apparent that the first cup was superior in terms of flavor/taste
and today I had visitors from 5 AM and was making multiple pots, and the first cup was markedly better each pot
I am wondering if I should try and optimize (my) sock coffee ?
does this mean one cup at a time ?
