✅ SOLVED Solid copper spike / chisel

Found this beach hunting in Hawaii.

It was encrusted in coral/sand etc

Has a slight curve.

No head. more like a chisel.

Very solid.

Any ideas as to what it is?

Np...

I was thinking it may be a bronze nail for copper bottom as well.

Yours appears to be unused... OR broken off... which might not be evident due to being "sanded" for who knows how long.
