✅ SOLVED Solved: Metal and Leather pieces?

I found these pieces near a small lake, the outer edge is metal and I think there is leather or cloth on the other side, any clues as to what it was. I know worthless and trash, I was just REALLY curious! Thanks

Might have been an old bicycle seat. Hard to tell after the mower got done with them.

My vote is head gasket. That was my first thought, and the photos cinched it.

Yep...Timekiller nailed it...gasket material. The copper piece is the sealing surface.

As soon as I saw it I thought "head gasket".

These are all from outboard engines.
