[Solved] possibly an old button or button cap?

I am not quite sure what it is, however I believe it might be an old button, or a cap to a button. I found it out in a field near a stadium that high school kids use for football. I think it might be a marching band button, but that is as best as I can guess. So, I thought I would post here just in the off chance someone knew what it was. The image appears to be a harp of sorts, but it is strange in that the lines run downwards, and not across as a harp would be. it is also about the size of a dime. Thanks for any help!

the back is completely hollow, to the point of seeing an impression of the front. I am willing to bet it is a musicians button as well. That is also what a friend said. I just mainly wanted to post it to see if anyone else had any ideas about it. Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond tokens! Good luck on your future hunts.
