hello all,
just wondering if anyone has seen one of these, about 1" diameter, 3/16 thick.
would have gone in the leadscrap pile if I had not noticed the #s. assuming it was a hem or curtain weight.

It seems to me that many years ago, tags similar to that were "run tags" used on rolls of barbed wired. I remember having to cut them off with wire cutters. That was back in the late 50's early 60's time frame. Today, I think they use tin or aluminum tags of some sort.
