Sorry that the picture is so big, but it's in focus so I thought I would post it. It's not very often that I can get a good picture with this camera. lol. There are two 2 cent pieces, a 3 cent piece, 4 shield nickles, one with rays and 5 buffalos. I found 10 or so war nickles that aren't in the picture. It's sorry to say but coins are just a bonus for me because I'm a relic hunter. I like finding them, but I don't get to fired up unless I find a coin that I haven't found before. All of the coins in the picture were found in demolition-construction and sidewalk sites except two of the Buffalo nickles that I found in the same yard a foot apart and six inches deep. I had a good year and found I don't know how many Indian heads and ten or more silver coins so I can't complain. I hope you all have a good year.

Thanks everyone for the comments and thanks Michigan Rob for resizing the picture. What do you use to resize them? I used photo shop and took it down to six percent and still got a picture that size. :icon_scratch:
I hope you all have a prosperous year.

This is the second one in that I have found in the past two years. I have not found a silver three cent piece yet. Where the heck are they? Has anyone found a silver three cent piece in Michigan?

Awesome finds! Were they all found in Michigan? If so, it gives me hope. Still have not found an old one yet. WTG!

They were found in the same small town in northeastern lower Michigan. One thing I'll tell everyone, over the years in every town people have put fill into some of their yards and around businesses. Construction sites and sidewalk replacement are the place to find old coins and relics. I have found some nice relics under sidewalks and most of the older coins that I have. These places can be a treasure trove if you can get into them, don't give up and keep going back as new stuff will keep showing up as long as they are moving dirt.

Sweet, Im from SE Mich as well. I am fairly new but, I have put some hours in looking for the oldies. I fear my Kelly Co Detector is not gonna cut it. I am stuck though cause cant afford a new one for a while. I will keep digging the clad and hope for the best! :D
