Her name is Tiger Lily. I "found" her at a rest stop in NY. My daughter met me and "gave" me the cat. They were moving and we met at a rest stop in NY. She moved from Montreal to California.

You have a button with a bead/nipple on top shown. I have one that is pewter (see pics) and looks similar. Do you know what this button is?

Regarding your button they are commonly referred to as nipple buttons and go back to the 17th century. Great save. I have only found a few EVER. The little buckle and coin with the ugly guy on it, I think James I are also 17th century. I found more 17th century stuff this year that in the rest of my life.

digalotajunk, the one with the cannon is an American Artillery button from the Revolutionary War. This one is cast brass and was used for the enlisted mens. The 1812 buttons have an eagle on the cannon fyi.

First time out this year going through the frozen beach sand I pulled out a tiny 2.5mm 14k gold bead.....and here we go again.
