Took these at my homemade suet feeder today.

I made this about three years ago. Took about 15 minutes. Just cut about a three foot section out of a small limby lodgepole pine tree, and drilled a few holes in it.

Fill the holes with suet by making a mixture of lard, chunky peanut butter, oatmeal, cornmeal, and bird seed.

Thanks, You've given me a good idea. I'll make up the same type of feeder, but will mount in on top of about a 6 foot pipe, so I can reach it to refill the holes, and the squirrels can't climb
up and clean it out.
