Got 2 eagle cuffs but one was in pieces, a Zouave button w/ shank, pocket knife, 2 frags, 2 case shots, some fired & dropped bullets (the spencer broke apart in the clod), 1 flattened 1960 nickle, & 2 brass thimbles.

Are flattened nickels this large and oval? Have you seen flattened nickels like this before? If so, why are they prevalent? Thanks

This is the first nickle I have seen like this. Maybe a rail road track flattened coin. Or one of those tourist shop machine flattened ones.
