Some field finds from today

Found a nice productive field today. It lies about a half mile from the creek, and the flake scatter was on top of a knoll. Found some cool tools and broke stuff. Got a mostly there crude knife, and a big ole something. I’m not sure if it’s a core, or a big tool. Comments appreciated

Nice knife. Those materials look very familiar. My wife found the blade of a hoe and I’ve got a big hafted chopper made from the same chert as the big whatsit you found. There’s a lot of that material around here turned into tools that look quickly worked to suit various purposes.

Nice Finds! Your second item looks more like a core. It's not quite beveled towards the edge for a chopper.

Yeah, that looks like a core to me too. Too bad about the corner-notched piece--a real heartbreaker. I like your little stove. I had one much like it long ago. It was an Enterprise.
