Rubies under UV lights.
Easy way to find and judge them.

Mmmm.... sweet color Doc! Thx for the tip on the Rubies, does the UV light also light up Garnets as well? What other stones stand out under the light?
I'm terribly color blind, but I can see gold just fine ;) Spotting neat rocks is hard unless I catch em in my pan under really good light.

Doc must buy your cons else where. Those are all classified. Thought they came right off the sluice or dredge. Into the bag.

The only ones I know of are sapphires, rubies and diamonds.
Diamonds turn bright blue.

The rubies and the gold in the pan were from a controlled testing run we did last week with the Monster Hog.
Measuring high viscosity slurry and feed rates for customers in countries with those issues.
