I believe the second item is a copper gutter rivet or nail.

Maybe it is. We just had one posted here with a name on the head and we thought it was a copper gutter nail but I cant find the thread.

I dont know. I often find construction debris on the beach but I have never seen a slate roof or siding used in South Florida. Do you have slate shingles near the beach where you live? I think its an older type of roofing.

It must be a shale roof tack that has other uses in Florida. :icon_thumright:
