I love finding the old hand forged iron. No telling exactly what they were used for, probably many things. Great finds.

The one on the left looks like a large spike that would have had an eye on the end. Driven into the beam and the strap on the door/gate had an eye on it as well so a pin dropped through to make a hinge. The hook is a cool find.
