Some kind of bracelet???

A few weeks ago I was detecting a section of VA beach at night and found an interesting bracelet. I couldn't see it very well in the dark and thought it was just a baby bracelet. After getting home and not finding much of value that night I didn't empty my pouch right away. After a few days I went back and looked in to find this bracelet...I think anyway. It appears to be made of brass. It's pretty light, but strong. The ends as you can see in the pictures almost look like fists to me. I've never seen anything like this before. It may be nothing, but I'd like to get some opinions from the experts on here to see what they think. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear about them. Thanks for your help!

Hello DD,
What you have is a 'Fist Bump' bangle bracelet. It looks like it could be made of brass or either gold plated. I've seen them in sterling too. They were popular among surfers at one time. Nice find, Breezie

LOL that was funny DD Actually, I should have said in my first post, the bracelet was probably for a child/baby since it was so small. The pic below is not the 'fist bangle bracelet,' but is a baby bangle bracelet that is not a solid circle.
