I found this at about 7" in a park, gave off a strong
low tone so I dug it, thought it was a wire at first till
I got it out of the hole.

Has that late 60s early 70s look about it, was there an outdoor concert in the area back then? Guess it could be much older though, but the wire hasn't turned green.

see if you can find a book on trade beads. I know they used to use them to trade to the indians for furs
I have found copper beads on a 1700's shipwreck.
