I have quite a few of those tokens. Dated 1950's I believe. They were used at Shell Gas Stations. They would hand them out for goods. Mostly to kids as part of a game. Hope that helps out...Nice digs...jgas

Very nice finds!

They had "The States" game and "The Presidents" game, the object was to collect all the states or all the presidents. They would come in an envelope and were aluminum, there were a few surprise winners, I remember when I was a kid we got one that said "Presidents "Bronze" coin collection. We sent it in and a few weeks later received a really nice collection of bronze coins. They all disappeared over the years. I wonder what they're worth now? Last year I found one of the "president game pieces (Millard Fillmore) it brought back some memories, 1.00 a gallon gas, full serve and you even got your windshield cleaned :) Rich.
