Looks like an old soldering iron. Used for metal roof and gutter work. Among other things.

Thought about that, but the tip doesn't really seem heavy enough.

Could be a hand forged wood working tool, or a hand-held drill bit.

Looks like a spike that has rusted away to give the illusion of having a head .

Sort of resembles a star drill homemade. That's what we called em might be easier to find using masonry drill.
