Laura do you ever see any flint nodules that look like this? This is some amazing glacial flint. I’d love to find the source. I cut this nodule on my rock saw.

I love the rocks that end up here from Canada, especially the greens! After big storms I always find these deep gorgeous greens-

Wow, is that what that is?? Is it strangely light and feel almost like plastic to touch when it's broken apart? I have found a few pieces broken up over the years and when I was a kid in the fields. Let me find some pics of what I have but I think it may be?

I think what I may have been finding is chert? I'll keep an eye out for what your nodule looks like though, will give me something to look out for. The hard plastic ones we found growing up were always near these little round balls- we would find them all over. The green one is the same feel as the pic I posted above. I have a few pink ones with that same marbled look too-
