Found these in the St. Louis area several years ago. Lots of heartbreakers and a couple of scrapers.

The Dalton in the middle and second picture....I'm thinking that it is an example of a compression/impact fracture that has been rechipped. Whatcha guys and gals think?
Happy Hunt'n.

Nice Holland, and does show either salvaging or more use on the one side. However, that broken Hidden Valley kills me even worse....damn, that hurts!

The point has certainly seen some reworking on one edge but not necessarily because of impact damage.

I agree with Neanderthal as it being a Holland ...fine point!!

Ahh..a Holland not a Dalton. My sincere apologies for mis ID'ing that point. Think I'll be putting some identification books on the Christmas list. :) Thanks for pointing that out. Much appreciated.

Gotta love those heartbreakers, still great finds..
Thanks for sharin'

Molly.

Thanks Molly. Looks like you may have a little rain headed your way. Hope it'll wash something up in your fields. Good luck.
