Went out again today to the cornfield and it started off warm, but got cold and started raining off and on. Blah! I hunted a straight line from one corner working my way to the next, the field is pretty dry, not many signals at all. My first signal was a 70-71 and thought for sure it was a bullet, to my surprise it was an 1865 IH penny. That kinda got me to gridding out this area, 'cause I thought perhaps a tiny camp was set up here. So I found a nice sharps after that, then another sharps, this one being a flat based sharps. Ended up finding 2 more bullets, a spencer and another sharps. Also found a little buckle. If it were a camp, it was pretty dry. I'm sure I'm 20 years too late on most of those signals..hunted before I'm positive in the past. I was happy enough to take those relics and that coin away! Thanks for looking and HH!

WOW man congrats, your doing great so far this year. I'm going to go either tomorrow or Sunday probably start at lot and work my way over to haldemans.
