I just got these in the mail on Tuesday and they are from Arrowheadology member Jay R's Ebay auctions. I was shocked at how cheap I got all four of these. I think what really helped is that they all went off late Saturday night and not that many people were on watching them.
#1 - The Martindale is slightly damaged on one side and I got it for $5.00. It's 2 1/4 inches long and made from some bluish looking flint. Anyone know what the material is? The colors don't show up very well in that picture, but the material is a blue and white mottled flint.
#2 - The Perd is almost perfect in very way. It isn't damaged. That barb has been sharpened off. I got it for $13.58. It is 2 13/16 inches long.
#3. Killer translucent Marshall. This baby is sweet. Nice looking material and a very nicely made point. It's 1 5/8 inches long and I got it $17.29
#4. And last, but definitely not least, is what I though was the best deal of the night. This is a Bi-Point Flake Knife that is just freakin' superb. I could believe that only one other person was bidding on this piece. This is probably one the finest made Knifes in my collection now, from any state. This baby has some unbelievable flaking on it. If not for the small stack on one side this would probably be a G-10 artifact. It is 3 3/4 inches long and I got it for $21.50.
The last picture is what my Texas tray looks like now after adding these 4 pieces in.
Thanks to Jay R for his awesome auctions. If anyone is looking to get some great Texas pieces at really good prices you need to check out his next auction. Enjoy the pics!!
