This is from a hunt I did a few weeks ago here in the Heights area of Houston (Once a suburb of the city, it is now fully within it. It dates to the turn of the 20th century). A grassy area near a playground parking lot yielded the 0.925 silver pendant with a nice blue stone that I assume is blue topaz (especially since that's our son's birthstone
). It's now part of my wife's jewelry... always great when the hobby can give something back to make the Mrs. happy!
I got really excited when the AA token popped out of the ground, thinking I hit big silver
The little pin is a modern NFPA member pin. I also pulled my first wheatie, which was nice - 1958D.
