They have all been found in various places throughout northern california. Ive been studying and finding all types of neat stuff from multiple native american tribes all throughout this area for many years.

Learning this whole computer thing now. i look forward to sharing more....

and learning.........i just stumbled upon this website. i love it.

quick question if you don't mind - you know native american history, as well as a pro at this site. If i have some rocks that i think may have been used as a tool of some sort by the native americans, do i post the ID questions on this forum? or the rock forum? id like to post some cool finds that i think may have been made here by hand, a long time ago. get some opinions on if they are anything or not.... thank you!

Welcome to the forums. Please post your finds here to get a good ID on them. But, be prepared for answers you may not want to read. Folks here are very knowledgeable and they will be honest with their answers. I have posted finds I was sure were artifacts only to be told that they were natural formations. At first. I doubted the folks replies but as I read more and more I came to the conclusion that they knew what they were talking about. Good providence on your hunts and post away.
