Here's my first post of the finds I've found recently in England. I'll keep adding photos as I get the chance, so, come back and take a look from time to time. These coins are supposed to be Roman. The upper left being silver, and the other two bronze. I know, they're in pretty bad shape, but, I'm still happy to find them. Considering the nice ones he's found, Crusader would probably pitch these into the hedgerow! LOL.

A couple of old rings. One may be a Roman era one.

Buttons galore! This is only about 1/4 of the ones I found. The rest were broken, boring flat buttons.

Lead tokens and bale seals. The one in the upper left seems to be a bronze token? Did they make those? Just doesn't seem to be made of the same stuff as the other ones.

Misc. stuff. Some buckles, thimbles, a crotal bell, a fancy pot foot, utensil handles, and half a mouth harp.

More misc. Silver plated handle for a tea pot, sugar bowl, or creamer? Fancy porcelin button, bronze bracelet fragment?, large broken crotal bell, a couple of musket balls, tiny spoon bowl (salt spoon?), a broken thimble, another bronze pot foot, buckle fragments and other interesting pieces.

I was staying in a house close to the beach, so, naturally, I just had to give that a shot too. I found a silver and gold band, and a pretty gold filigree ring with a red stone. That's all for now.

Nice selection, looks like a good trip & no we would GPS those Scrappies, measure the widest diameter, shortest diameter, & thickness. Then weight it. Then note its denomination, visible legend, reverse type, obverse type (if known), & it overall condition on the private database.
