Well, not much in the way of coins...I usually do not post unless I get a keeper, and I do not consider a wheat penny a keeper.
I got back to the old grove near my home. Tell you what I have yet to pull a silver piece out of here.
The thing has been there since the late 1800's and the oak trees are as tall as they can get.
God knows it has been hunted beyond hunted, but I always seem to pull a wheatie out every time I go.

In any case, I would not even have posted it, but today I did find some older objects of days gone by.
Today, I ended up in a spot not so near to home and I had some time to kill....
Thought I had an old quarter, as I dug down 7 inches and pulled out the thimble from between the trash.

A nice solid signal that rang in near the half range and I dug down to 10" and out popped the vintage Volupte USA makeup compact (~40's-50's).
Was kinding of hoping for a silver surprise in the compartment...but that did not happen.
Also, pulled out the disc not long after about 5-6". It turned out to be another oldie...a vintage Charles Gulota bike reflector from the 50's.
The reflector is pure metallic on the back and was dirty as anything (as it was face down in the hole), being it was dollar sized and how it rang in--it was a bit of a tease.

Anywho, that is what I have been doing.
Best of luck to you all!
