Silver From the Old Dump

While waiting for my new Deus II to get delivered I decided to go swing the Legend at the old town dump for a quickie.
I've searched this same part of the dump 40-50 times, or more, but almost always find something worth keeping.
Today was no exception. Got a Richard Hudnut compact and a 1942-S merc!

That merc is nice! Full bands plus it’s an S. We see so many WW2 mercs found on Tnet. Everyone was working during the war. Full employment and everything was rationed. People had money with less things available to spend money on. They threw mercs in the dump!

That is pretty neat. Is it just a town dump (city garbage removal) where they hauled stuff to pitch? (I have to say that is a great idea to hunt!)

Yeah, old town dumps are loaded with goodies! I've watched my friend @Conito@55 find gold coins TWICE now at old dumps.
