Found my 3rd Eagle Button in the field. 3 from one field. Thats great. Dont find many eagle buttons around here. Not many war items at all..Very happy to have them.

Nice collection from the same field! Where are you?

I'm no button expert, but #1 looks like pre-civil war, #2 looks like turn of the 20th century, #3 looks like civil war general services. Thats nearly 100 years of history.

Very cool.

No. 1 definately looks 1812-20 era
 
#1 button) Artillery 1808-1821, ID # AY 52-B. On page 55 in Albert's button book.
A very good find.

I wasn't too far off, seeing as I know very little about your buttons, that come from the benefit of joining Tnet :thumbsup:
