These are my finds from yesterday and today. Yesterday was a horrible start. Hunted a field that had bazillion modern bullets. Literally every swing there was a modern bullet, and that's no exaggeration, I don't know what went on in these fields. Finally as I was leaving I got 2 wheats, then an iffy signal which was a wheat and a mercury in the same hole. Dug one more wheatie then another merc. Nice little coin spill, nothing amazing but silver is always nice.

Went out today to a heavily hunted spot and got a nice 3 ringer and a pretty cool carved bullet. Can't tell what type of bullet it was carved from. Hunted around an old home site on the property and got the normal household things, spoons, some buckles, harmonica reeds. Best finds from there was the sportsman button with a dog on the front, a beautiful 1900 IH and a nice decorative hinge. Always nice to get out. Thanks for looking and HH.

Super looking IH ! Wish I could find one that sharp down here!

I always like finding those Indians. Great finds!!

Nice stuff Matt. Glad to see you're getting out regularly. I really like that hinge, and I believe I may have dug a one similar but doubt I can put my hands on it. Keep 'em coming ......

Thanks, Bill. Stuff wasn't as old as I like, but it is definitely a treat getting out this time of year between work and the weather. Got a few potential early home sites in the line up, little research and the age ole getting the permission. We'll see what comes of them. The year is still early.

Great finds as always Matt. Those coins are in great condition, especially the IH. Not easy to pull em out looking that nice. All the best, Abe

Nice finds. I like the Sportsman's button & the IH looks great!

Thank you. Actually it was sunset. I looked over and saw the fog coming up through the field, thought there was a fire or something. Looked like a lot of smoke coming in.

Good stuff there Matt and the IH has great detail. The sunset pic looks really good. Half the fun of detecting is enjoying nature and the company of good friends. HH, Q.

You have to wonder what led up to the creation of your coin spill. Did a farmer loose them as he pulled a rag from his pocket to wipe sweat from his face...... Did he sit on the ground at that very spot to eat his lunch....

Great finds!!

Very cool finds, your IH is in such nice shape, hard to believe it was in the ground, must of been a lot of clay maybe? Your pix are great I hope your going to hit that spot again. good luck, HH

Yep, this IH was in red clay...mixed with a lot of cow poopy. lol Oh we have been here over a dozen times. There has been activity at this particular site from colonial on up through the 1900's. Find everything from Spanish silver, capped busts to wheat pennies. A lot of trash and a lot of sifting through.

Here are all the relics dug at the home site.
