Some nice finds from local schoolyards. The cross and chain are marked stainless steel, sure wish they were silver and gold. A really nice peice, none the less. The old watch fob is for a local dairyman's coop. Fobs are some of my favorite finds, so this one was a nice surprise. A stout little brass buckle was found about 20' away from the fob. Thanks for looking, get out and have fun digging! Cheers, Sub 8-)

Killer fob Sub

Nice finds Sub. I like that Fob and Crucifix.

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!!

I can only imagine how much that cross and chain would be worth if they actually were gold! :treasurechest:
But what I really like is the amount of information and pictures on the Producers Creamery Company watch fob.
This piece will clean up nicely too.

Here's a non-dug example currently being offered on eBay for $45.
Dave

Nice saves Sub. I bet that cross caused some excitement before you figured out what it was, lol [emoji3166]

Good stuff! School yards are great especially older ones.

Thanks Antiquarian, The "Show Me" State soil is very hard on any clad relic or coin. That non-dug Fob is a beauty. I found my Fob about 20 miles from Springfield, MO, so it "got around." Cheers, Sub

I did some online research before I responded to your post and there's actually very little historical information available about the Producers Creamery Company in Springfield, MO.
I'm thinking they were likely part of a large dairy co-operative. :icon_scratch:

Here's some info I found about the company,
Dave
