Been a super long time since i have posted! Glad to be back! I found this interesting thing today. It was found at a spot in Northern Virginia where I have also found a small Georgia button and a really nice dropped Carcano bullet. I have reason to believe the area was a small winter camp.
It is relatively heavy, I guess its brass with gold guild. Measures about 1"x1" and is oval at the bottom. Does not seem bent up.
I imagine/hope it is part of some sort of special Confederate relic?
Anyone have an idea?
