All, I dug this brass artifact near a home that dates to 1941 (according to property records) but there is an earlier structure there on the 1938 aerial photo. To me it looks like some sort of hook or drawer pull. I searched the internet and didn't see a hook/pull with this shape. Its ornate design looks "flowery" - so I was thinking it is from the Art Nouveau era or a reproduction. What do you think it is? How old is it?
