Any thoughts on these random ends found in the lawn of an early 1900s home.

Also, found at a different location but, this is the biggest coaxial connector I've ever seen. Anyone know what kind of application this would be used for?

coaxial connector is probably for either a antenna or a main cable trunk

The long tapered piece in the middle looks like a gibb key.

That cable is made for direct burial. Connector may have
been bad, so they cut it off and replaced it.
