It looks like a brooch to me too... maybe something fancy for womens suspenders (garters)?

No luck with the words isenpers or tsendpers :(

Double check that spelling!

No idea what it's made of so no idea how to clean it... or of value until it's identified.

I believe your item to be a Vintage Rhinestone Fur Clip and the name you can't quite make out is Eisenberg, which was a company that made them back in the time that they were popular in the 1930's and 40's.

Check out the front and back of these I found on the internet similar to yours.

Value could be from 25 to well over 400 dollars if it is restored. The second one shown in my pics below is being offered on the internet for 325 dollars.

Go to Google and Type in "Eisenberg Original Rhinestone Pin" You will be shocked at some of the prices. Great collectible.

Very nice find!!!

Hope this helps.

Thanks Jim. I thought at first it was a clip on Rhinestone Shoe Buckle popular also with the ladys. My search for one of those got me a lucky hit on the fur pin.

thanks for the help  so now the diamond looking things that go around the fur clip could those be real? i know the stones inside are fake. but the tiny stones that surrouind still shine... WHat can i clean it with? i like to repost it after its cleaned

Use perhaps a sonic jewelry cleaner. A lot of those type of stones were foil back to increase the shine. When dirt or trash gets between the stone and the foil, there is not much else you can do. The small stones are probably just good quality glass cut . My wife has had a number of them and sold them in shows for big bucks. Eisenburgh is a very highly sought after brand.

Depending on age some rosecut diamonds had foil on the back to add brilliance in candle light.
